This is my first week of trying to put my menu online and see how much I follow it. I am trying it because I try menu planning just on paper at home but it never seems to work the way I want it to. I am hoping that this will help me stay on track. I used to shop and buy groceries for an entire month. Then I end up with lots of extra ingredients and not enough ingredients to make an entire meal. Hopefully this way I can plan my meals on Saturday or Sunday and then go shopping for groceries for that week on Sunday evening and get the items I need. I got the idea to Menu Plan from Cindy –What’s for Dinner?
The blog where Menu Plan Monday originated is Org Junkie (which has lots of great stuff on keeping your house organized. To start with I am just going to do only list what I am cooking for dinner.
So this is the menu plan for this week at the Sheets’ house:
Sunday
Dinner: Easy Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice
Monday
Dinner: Three Cheese Pasta Bake, Spinach, French Bread
Tuesday
Dinner: Meatloaf Muffins, Green Beans, Baked Potatoes
Wednesday
Dinner: Grilled Chicken Salad
Thursday
Dinner: Leftovers (My students have their 3rd Grade Music Program)
Friday
Dinner: Crock Pot Beef Tips, Accordion Potatoes
Dinner: Won Ton Tacos
