Emma Uses a Spoon

Tonight Emma started working on feeding herself with a spoon. She did a pretty good job. She had yogurt all over her face but that is to be expected. I included a few pictures so that you see how cute she is learning to feed herself.

Vacationing in South Carolina

It has been three weeks since I last posted. It has been a very busy three weeks. The first week I had workshops almost everyday of the week. Then we left for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina some of Victor's relatives live there so we spent a few days at Blythewood and then traveled on down to Myrtle Beach for a couple of days. We had a great time I included a few pictures of our trip. We went to the zoo, Emma got to swim in Aunt Bo's pool. She also loved the ocean. Then when we got back the next day I left for Maryville, MO (up by St. Joesph) for a conference on Kagan Structure (cooperative learning).

Anyway, like I said it has been a long few weeks. Hopefully I can get back in the swing of things and back to blogging about our families lives.

Emma's First Picture for Mommy

Emma went to her new sitter today we have been taking her one day a week for 3-5 hours so she can get used to the new place and Ms. Vickie who is wonderful. She does tons of educational activities with her and the best part is that there are only two kids Emma and this little girl named Daphne. Anyway, today when I picked Emma up she had her best day yet....no tears or cries for Momma at all. She also painted me a little picture and I adore it. It is right on the fridge (eye level for Emma of course) and she stands next to it an points. Anyway I couldn't resist posting it on the blog. :)

New Avatar Picture

For all of you that get this sent to your e-mail click on the link and go check out the avatar (graphic representation of a person) that I made of myself. I know it doesn't look exactly like me, I am learning. The baby in the stroller looks nothing like Emma but it wouldn't let me do anything to the baby in the stroller. Anyway, I had fun making it and thought it was cute.

Emma's 4th of July

I am a little late at getting these pictures up, but Emma had a great 4th of July.

We went to my aunt and uncle's house, they always do a 4th of July party. Emma liked how pretty the fireworks were and she did okay with the noise but after a while she got to fussing and crying when they would blow up. Here are some pictures from our 4th of July celebration.
