Emma Naps....
Saturday Emma woke up late in the morning and so her schedule was REALLY off, so off she didn't get a nap in all day. So we were tryig to keep her up until at least 7 so she wouldn't get up super early on Sunday. Well, we were watching Elmo about 7 and she feel asleep on daddy. She was so out she didn't even wake up as Victor carried her back to her room.

Emma is Sleeping Through the Night
A few people had e-mail me to see how Emma was doing sleeping through the night so I thought I would give you a little update.
With the help of my wonderful eMINTS team and Victor (thanks Cindy, Sember and Jan) I was able to let Emma cry enough that she now sleeps through the night. She still wakes up every now and then once during the night but she just fusses for a minute and then goes back to sleep on her own.
It has been amazing sleeping through the night, now that we have her sleeping through the night we feel safe to get ready to think about having her a baby brother or sister. :)

Trying to Get Some Sleep
I feel like such a mean mom....but tonight Victor and I have decided that Emma has to learn how to put herself to sleep. We put her to bed like normal rocking and all, I know she is almost a year old and she still gets rocked to sleep. But when she wakes up her 6-7 times at night we are not going back in to rock her back to sleep. I hate the thought of her letting her cry but the doctor and all of the books tell us that she needs to learn to go back to sleep on her own.
So say a prayer for me as the next few nights will be hard.
