I feel like such a mean mom....but tonight Victor and I have decided that Emma has to learn how to put herself to sleep. We put her to bed like normal rocking and all, I know she is almost a year old and she still gets rocked to sleep. But when she wakes up her 6-7 times at night we are not going back in to rock her back to sleep. I hate the thought of her letting her cry but the doctor and all of the books tell us that she needs to learn to go back to sleep on her own.
So say a prayer for me as the next few nights will be hard.

So how is the going back to sleep thing going? We've been working on it as well, and it's going better than I thought. I don't like to hear him cry, and I thought there's no way I can do it. But he's gotten so good at just laying down for naps even and not crying. Keep it up...it will work. Just be consistant.
