Well, I have been an awful blogger these days. The Sheets' household is back in full swing. Oh how we love the days of summer when we are all three off and just laying around the house. It has been over a month since my last post. And I left you hanging to recap what has happened in our lives.
~Emma is now a walking machine. She is gaining her independence and doesn't need me for "everything" anymore. I kind of miss it.
~Emma is now going to her sitter (Ms. Vickie) full time (5 days a week). She loves it even though she cries and reaches for me every morning on the handoff. The hardest thing I have ever done is take Emma to a sitter.
~Victor and I have both started school. Victor is loving it this year and I well let's just say I am adjusting. It has been tough I moved down to 2nd grade and having a hard time getting my feet on solid ground with the kids.
~I am again battling with guility mom syndrome. Where I feel pulled between working and being a good teacher and being at home and being a good mom.
~My birthday is this next week and I will be 27.....whew! Doesn't seem like I should be that old. I know it isn't old, but some days Emma makes me feel about 87. :)
~Three people e-mailed me since it had been so long since I posted and asked if there is a baby sheets yet....as of yet no. Keep saying the prayers. :) I just finished round 2 of fertility pills and are waiting for all of the side effects and icky feelings to go away and then it will be a waiting game to start taking pregnancy tests. When it is meant to happen it will hapen.
~We are slow starting to look for houses in the area between Branson and Ozark, and thought we had found a perfect one ...and found out tonight it was under contract, again when God's timing is perfect it will all work out.
Emma is doing wonderful and loving life. She now says mommy, daddy, no (her favorite I think), up, down, yea, ball, and a variety of babbling that Victor and I are sure are going to get her spankings for back talking once they start to make sense. :)
She is getting wonderful at sign language. She knows the signs for milk, drink, water, eat, more, done, please and then some others that aren't real signs but we know what she needs. I am loving that she knows sign language it has helped so much with her ability to communicate with us and let us know what she wants.
Okay so now I will post this and on my next post put some pictures for you to see of Emma and how big she is getting. Hopefully it won't be another month and a half before I post again but I am too busy these days being mom, wife and teacher......and loving my life. How many wonderful things I have to be thankful for. :)
